Your records are encrypted on your device

Transactions and settings are encrypted before they leave your phone or computer. Your password unlocks them.

  • A backup key, saved by you, restores access if you forget your password.
  • No bank login. Jeyb records money; it never moves it.
  • Export every transaction to CSV whenever you want.
  • Your email address and basic sign-in activity remain visible to the service.

Questions

Do I need to connect my bank?

No. You add your accounts and record transactions yourself, or import a CSV file. Jeyb doesn’t connect to your bank or move your money.

What happens to what I enter before signing up?

It stays in that browser tab. When you create an account in the same tab, everything you entered moves into your encrypted account. If you close the tab first, it is gone.

Can I track more than one currency?

Yes. Each account holds one currency. Totals use exchange rates you set, and every transaction keeps the value it was saved with.

What if I forget my password?

Reset it by email, then enter the backup key you saved during setup. Without the password or the backup key, nobody can open your records, including us.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. Settings → Import & export downloads every transaction as a CSV file.
